The discharge electrode of the electrostatic demister is broken due to dust adhesion, insulation film formation, corrosion, and poor equipment quality, or it needs to be replaced because it is bent and cannot be corrected. When using sulfur ore and zinc ore, an insulating film is often formed on the discharge electrode. In summary, it should be replaced every 1-5 years. The reason for replacing the discharge electrode in the demisting device is roughly the same as that in the dust removal device. When the star-shaped protruding part is seriously damaged, it needs to be replaced.

If water and dust are attached to the surface of the insulating ceramic bottle or mixed with the insulating oil of the electric demister for demisting, the electrical insulation will be significantly deteriorated, and the useful voltage will drop. Use a 1000V megohmmeter to measure a completely cleaned insulation The insulation resistance of the porcelain bottle is about infinite, and it should be insulated at least above 20Mn. Porcelain bottles should be cleaned regularly according to the usage and environment, and the insulated porcelain bottles should be put into the box and sent into the hot air to avoid the influence of moisture and dust.


In the case of electric defogger thyristor rectification, the temperature has a certain influence on its operating characteristics and life, so it is necessary to pay attention to the temperature rise around the thyristor, and the thyristor rectifier is stored in a storage tank. Because they are often cooled by insulating oil, the temperature rise is not a problem, but pay attention to the pollution of the moisture absorbing breather. If the moisture absorbing breather is polluted, the water entering the insulating oil of the storage tank will often cause the deterioration of the insulation function.
